The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs the public’s help identifying a bank robber dubbed the “Abe Lincoln Bandit.”
The man, sporting a rather unusuallong Abraham Lincoln-like beard, robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 11102 Scarsdale in Houston Saturday (June 30).
At approximately 11:35 a.m., the man entered the bank and handed a teller a threatening note demanding money. After passing the note, he lifted his shirt to display a pistol packed in his waistband. The man got a very small amount of cash, less than $100. He left the bank on foot. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
