'Blurred Lines' debut at the top of the chart, selling 177,000 copies this week

Robin Thicke has earned the first number one album of his career with Blurred Lines, thanks to its lead single of the same name.
According to "Billboard," the album has debuted at the top of the chart, selling 177,000 copies this week!
It beat out four other new arrivals, including the latest from the Backstreet Boys, Five Finger Death Punch and "X Factor" group Emblem3.
Aside from enjoying his best sales week ever, Thicke's single "Blurred Lines" has clocked yet another week at number one on the Hot 100, bringing his consecutive total to nine. The song featuring T.I. and Pharrell is holding onto a steady lead, particularly in digital sales. It sold 405,000 downloads this week alone, becoming the first track all year to break past the 400,000 weekly mark in four separate weeks.
