Listen to Lady Gaga on iHeartRadio
Lady Gaga may be taking a break from the stage, but her big-screen acting debut is just around the corner. The pop star will be making an appearance in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez movie "Machete Kills."
In the action flick, a sequel to 2010's "Machete," Gaga will play a character appropriately named Lady Chameleon. She's part of a cast that also includes Sofia Vergara, Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Cuba Gooding Jr. and even Charlie Sheen - who's making headlines for using his birthname of Carlos Estevez for the film.
Gaga appears in the trailer in two brief clips, where she's shown clutching a gun as a hitchhiking femme fatale. The star has received criticism in the past for the use of fake plastic guns in her "Born This Way Ball" show.
"Machete Kills" hits theaters on September 13th.
