Selena Gomez isn't about to give up on love after her high profile breakup with Justin Bieber.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar out on newsstands on March 19th, the singer and actress is opening up about what went wrong and how she's moving on.
Selena says she and Bieber tried to make their relationship as normal as possible in such an "abnormal lifestyle." But she insists that the doubly magnified media attention was not a factor because "unfortunately you can't control that."
For Selena, there's no such thing as celebrity love. She says that people may look at Jay-Z and Beyonce and see a perfect couple, but "at the end of the day their love is just like everybody else's love."
The "Spring Breakers" star told Harper's Bazaar that she still believes in love, now that her two-year relationship with the Biebs is officially over.
Apparently hanging out with Katy Perry has been helpful. She says, "It's cool to see someone older believe in love too. She is all about it, and that's how I will always be."
