The 12.12.12 Concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City drew in billions of viewers from all over the world, and what better way to end it than with Sir Paul McCartney. He performed a number of songs, including some from his Beatles days. McCartney rocked the crowd and everyone at home with hits like "Helter Skelter," "Blackbird," "Let Me Roll," "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five," and "I've Got a Feeling."
But the rock star didn't stop there, revealing a few surprises that were up his sleeve throughout his performance. He brought out Diana Krall to accompany him on the Piano to sing "Valentine."
But, the biggest surprise yet was an on-stage Nirvana reunion with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear when they joined Sir Paul to debut their new song.
To end the night McCartney invited all of the service men, who responded to Hurricane Sandy, up on stage to personally shake all of their hands while - ANOTHER surprise - Alicia Keys came out to play, what else but "Empire State of Mind."
