The hit '90s show is about to get a Disney spin-off
Boy Meets World yielded one of the greatest '90s romances of all time: Cory and Topanga. And also, one of the strongest friendships: Cory and Shawn. If you grew up watching the show, you should be excited to know that a spin-off for Boy Meets World is in the works. Well, since the boy has met the world, now it's time for the girl to meet the world in the upcoming spin-off called (surprise, surprise) Girl Meets World, as the show focuses on the life of Cory and Topanga's pre-teen daughter Riley.
The news of the spin-off, which is in its very early stages, leaves us asking a few questions. Is the original cast that we all grew up with returning? Or will a whole new cast be put in place? Will Girl Meets World deal with the same issues as its mother show, since it will be on Disney?
These questions remain to be answered, however some of the cast members may have dropped a few hints already. Danielle Fishel, aka Topanga, tweeted:
Just want you guys to know that @bensavage and I have talked and we've decided...Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!
This could be very exciting if the two are cast in the spin-off, but one thing is for sure -we are all waiting for the return of Mr. Feeny! Fee-hee-heenay!
