Our Top 5:
Robert Hammans
I am a husband and father to 4 great kids. I have always been active in sports growing up and was always the tall skinny kid who couldn't gain a pound if I tried. That was until about 10 years ago I have slowly ballooned up to my current weight which is by far the biggest I have ever been. My career definitely gets in the way of being able to have a consistent workout routine. I drive quite a bit and sometimes sit for 8-10 hours a day. I find myself eating fast food in my car because it's convenient and saves time. I feel disgusted with myself and I know the weight is holding me back. I know it's not long before I start having health issues due to my obesity. I am so excited to take this opportunity to lose the weight and gain motivation to continue a healthy lifestyle to be able to be here to enjoy life with my family and be able to set a good example for my children.
Fred Kling
My husband, Fred, decided to enter the Chubby Hubby competition because quite frankly, he's exhausted. He's tired of being fat, he's fatigued by sleep apnea due to his weight and most of all he's drained emotionally from consistently being poked at because he is overweight. Although he hasn't always been overweight (spending his childhood playing sports) once he started working in a call center and he became more sedentary, the weight started packing on. Fred is the most caring, loving and sincere person I have ever met. He is always giving to others and rarely takes time to do anything for himself. We are both so grateful that he got through to the top 5, because this will give him the opportunity to focus on himself and more importantly, the ability to be everything he can be. Please vote for Fred and make our dreams of a long, healthy life come true!
Craig Kelley
Once upon a time I used to be an athlete who loved working out and being active. Slowly but surely, I became less active, and found myself turning to food more and more. I started eating when I was bored, or stressed, or frustrated. It seemed like everything turned into a reason to stop by my closest fast food drive thru. Now, I'm a few pizzas away from 400 pounds, and can't bend over to tie my shoes without getting winded. I have a three year old son, and a three month old daughter, and I'm tired of being the dad that's always tired. I'm tired of being the dad who is too big to play on the playground with his kids. And, I'm tired of being the dad that's too embarrassed to swim with his kids at the pool. I'm ready to be the father my kids need, the husband my wife deserves, and the person I can be proud of again.
Brian Pullin
Brian is an amazing husband, father of two, and grandfather of three. He is a hardworking man that has always put his family first. We are very grateful that he has this opportunity to put himself first and lose weight. Brian has several medical issues including high blood pressure, a bad liver, and he uses a CPAP machine while he sleeps. He will be celebrating his 50th birthday this month! We are hoping weight loss will improve his health so we can have him around for another 50!
Bo Sutherland
Bo is an amazing father of three boys (9,7, and 2 months). He always puts everyone before himself. He never asks for anything for himself. After almost 20 years of working as an EMT (24 hours shifts) the weight of helping others in their time of need has physically been put on him. I am so glad that he has made it into the top 5 of Chubby Hubby as I am excited for this opportunity to jump start his weight loss . I want him to be healthy. I want him to have many years of playing with the boys. I want him to reach his goal of running a marathon before his 40th birthday.
