Sheryl Crow is tapping into her southern roots, as she revealed at the CMT Artists of the Year taping she is  working on her first-ever country record! Her first single from the project will  be released in March, and she tells Country Weekly she has been working on the album at home in her barn. Sheryl is hoping radio will embrace  her, as she added, “My record is probably more country than a lot of country that is getting played, so I hope I get  played.”
