MUMFORD & SONS AND GOTYE LEAD SPOTIFY STREAMS IN 2012:

When it comes to the most played artists on Spotify in 2012, Gotye and Mumford & Sons lead the list, alongside artists like David Guetta, Coldplay and Rihanna.

Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" topped the list as the most streamed song of 2012, edging out Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." Guetta's album, Nothing But the Beat, topped the list of most-streamed albums, beating Gotye's Making Mirrors and Drake's Take Care.

Mumford & Sons' Babel was the most streamed for a newly released album this year, racking up more than 8 million streams in a single week. English boy band One Direction surpassed 100 million streams. Guetta topped Flo Rida and Eminem to head Spotify's ranking of the most-streamed male artists. Rihanna topped the women's list, besting Nicki Minaj and Adele, while Coldplay was the most-streamed band.

KID ROCK TO HIT THE TOUR TRAIL AGAIN IN 2013:

Kid Rock will hit the nationwide arena circuit early next year in support of his recently released Rebel Soul album. He will be backed, as always, by his Twisted Brown Trucker band, while opening support will be provided by Buckcherry and Hellbound Glory.
