Entertainment Tonight was the first to report that Danny DeVito and Reah Pearlman have separated after 30 years of marriage. No reason for the separation has been given. This kind of thing baffles me. They've been married for 30 years, had 3 kids, own a production company together and now they're going to separate? You're in your 60's. You've put in 30 years and you can't stay together? I've always been of the opinion that the notion of being "separated" is just a way for someone to see how they would do on the single scene but if it doesn't work out you can always come back and say "Okay I miss you let's get back together."
True we don't know the reason for the separation and I hope they work things out but every time I read about people separating I shake my head and wonder if that's the reason, to see if the grass is greener. Cause guess what. . . it's the same color.
