I moved here 2 years ago as a single parent so that I could put my life back together. I decided to go back to school so that I could finish my degree and get a good job. Rio Salado offered the best means of finishing my transfer credits so that I could move on and finish my Bachelor's Degree at NAU. While working toward finishing my AGEC, I became interested in the Paralegal program that is offered by Rio Salado. I enrolled in that program and will finish, just 14 months later. The online program has allowed me to be a parent to my almost 3 year old without sacrificing quality time. It's allowed me the flexibility to work with my son's numerous medical needs and his frequent illnesses. The instructors are helpful and very knowledgeable in their field and are willing to be flexible when things came up and my son or I got sick. Rio was my very last option when I first started looking at schooling options, as a non traditional student, I wasn't really sure that I wanted to be taking online classes---in retrospect, it should have been my very first.
