I'm just starting at RioSalado. I graduated high school, got married and had kids right away. That's what I wanted back then. Now the kids are grown and it's time to figure out what I want to be when I grow up! I was married for 25 years and never really had a career. Now I'm on my own and starting over. It's hard to find a career without a college degree but I didn't think I could afford to go back to school. I have a crazy schedule, dying laptop and don't make extra "disposable" money. The Financial Aid office at Rio Salado is very helpful. They showed me that I not only could afford to go to school but I actually got money back to buy a new laptop! I just finished my first set of classes and am looking forward to my next classes.
