I have 4 kids to support and the only job I knew how to do was selling homes. It was an nearly impossible career given the state of the economy the last few years. Rio Salado College helped this single mom to earn a teaching certificate. I have been able to attend school WHILE teaching in the classroom through their unique Teacher In Residence program. I take classes online at night and on the weekend. I have a job teaching high school during the week. Rio Salado has allowed me to support my family and get the credentials I need at the SAME time. I would be lost without my mentor teacher and the flexible class schedule Rio Salado has given me. I have learned so much and am happy to be teaching 9th grade English classes in the West Valley. The convenient satellite locations in Avondale and Surprise are a huge help too.
