I started taking classes at Rio online because I needed to take some pre-requisites to get into Nursing School. This was a career change for me since I'd always worked in the financial industry. Because I'm older, I also had to retake my sciences and math classes since it had been over 10 years since previously taking them.My children were 4 and 6 when I started with Rio. Because of the flexibility, I could study at night after the kids went to bed. I could also go to any of the Rio testing centers to take my tests at a time that was convenient to me. If I would of had to go to class everyday like traditional colleges do, I would not have been able to do this. Without Rio, I wouldn't be graduating with my RN this December from Banner Boswell School of Nursing (through Mesa Community College).
